Current fire safety legislation requires employers to
carry out a workplace fire risk assessment. Soon new
legislation will extend the requirements to all buildings
to which the public have access. The consequences of a
fire for your business can be far reaching. Not only will
buildings be at risk but property damage and business
disruption could lead to further losses. Protecting your
employees and your business from the risk of fire is an
urgent priority.
YOU’RE AT RISK
Legislation places the responsibility for fire safety in
the workplace on the employer. Failure to comply could
result in legal action, a fine or even imprisonment.
SO IS YOUR
BUSINESS
Then, of course, there is the risk to your business should
a fire occur. Multinational corporations have disaster
recovery plans in place so that they can continue in
business, whatever happens. How many customers and clients
would you retain if your workplace was damaged by fire?
Even if you managed to continue trading would your
reputation survive the notoriety of not doing enough to
avoid the risk of fire?
LOWER THE RISK
Do you know if you comply with Regulations? The Fire Risk
Assessment Seminar, organised and presented by The Fire
Service College, one of the world’s acknowledged
authorities on fire safety, explains the requirements of
legislation and shows what you need to do to comply.
